How to make Zucchini Fritters.

One of the very popular dishes on our breakfast Menu is our Zucchini and Corn Fritter inspired by Mum. Check out our sumptuous breakfast menu http://lacamerasouthgate.com/menu-cat/breakfast/

Let’s start with mums ingredients: Plain flour (1/4 cup, zucchini flowers (app 15), zucchini (1 small), soda/mineral water, basil (optional) Canola Oil ( for frying)

The amount of all ingredients can vary depending on how many flowers and zucchini you would like in mixture. Soda water can also be replaced by baking powder which both give the zucchini fritters some more volume.

1. Add some flour and soda water and stir until the mixture become smooth. Zucchini Fritters 20170311_184412

2. Grate a small zucchini and add to mixture and stir.20170311_184715

3. Add zucchini flowers in small pieces and then add a couple of large leaves of basil ( my recipe not mums)20170311_185500

4. Combine all ingredients and then your ready to fry.20170311_185654

5. You can deep or shallow fry or if you are really healthy you can bake, but of course you can’t compare the taste.20170311_190944

6. Use a table spoon to scoop mixture into fry pan and fry until golden brown.
