VALENTINES DAY AT LA CAMERA (Friday the 14th)
Ever wonder we we celebrate St.Valentine’s day. Being of Roman origin, I found it a great read.
In short, St. Valentine of Rome, was supposedly a temple priest who was executed near Rome by the anti-Christian Emperor Claudius II.
His crime was helping Roman soldiers to marry when they were forbidden to by the Christian faith at the time.
It is widely believed that he is buried in a cemetery just north of Rome.
On that romantic note:), treat your special Valentine with a romantic dining experience at La Camera Southgate.
Start off with the idyllic location looking over the Yarra river with spectacular views of Melbourne.
Then begin your night with a Rose and bubbly for two. A $100 per person set menu applies to bookings on the balcony from 7.30pm
A la carte is available inside or you have the option of the set menu at $80 per person. All set menu patrons receive a Rose and bubbly for two.
La Camera’s version of an execution…A wining and dining perfect execution!!
Visit our Facebook events page as the set menu will be in the discussion page by weeks end. A shared entree, a choice of 5 mains and a shared dessert platter.
